Benefiting from favorable policies in China, the country’s wind energy has ballooned into a mature and booming business. By the end of 2008, the capacity of newly-built wind power units reached 10500MW, 2 years ahead of the original deadline set by China's government to reach 10000MW by the end of 2010.
China’s wind energy market is just at its beginning. By 2020, China aims to expand its wind power generating capacity to 100,000 megawatts, more than double the current - installed capacity of the world.
In close co-organization with Baotou People’s Government of Inner Mongolia, Noppen hosts the 2009 Advanced Wind Technology and Investment Summit in Baotou Inner Mongolia, a featured venue for investment in China’s wind energy industry.
